What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of professional experience with Magento 2 (preferably with enterprise-level implementations).
- Strong understanding of modern web standards: HTML5, CSS3, and SASS/LESS.
- Proficiency in JavaScript
- Experience with JavaScript build tools (Webpack, Vite) and task runners (Grunt/Gulp).
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks: React.js, Vue.js, or similar.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles (media queries, flexbox, grid).
- Version control proficiency with GIT.
- Unit and integration testing for front-end components (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine).
- English proficiency at a working level.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams to build and enhance eCommerce websites based on Magento 2.
- Create custom, scalable front-end solutions using Magento 2 and modern frameworks.
- Regularly communicate with project managers to align on technical requirements and project milestones.
- Contribute to the team’s growth by participating in knowledge-sharing activities (tech talks, pair programming, code reviews).
- Optimize websites for performance, scalability, and accessibility.
- Stay updated with the latest eCommerce trends and front-end development technologies.
It’s a big plus if you have experience with:
- Hyvä or other modern Magento front-end frameworks.
- UI frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation, or Tailwind CSS.
- JavaScript testing frameworks (Jasmine, Jest).
- Progressive Web Apps (PWA).
- Vue.js, React, or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Magento Enterprise or Magento Cloud development.
