evozon at Intel RealSense App Challenge
A great team of developers from Evozon competed in the Intel® RealSense™ App Challenge in 2014. They won with an innovative app, a music player with futuristic controls and an impressive colorful UI called Moodflux. Its sensor is capable of face and hand tracking, being able to follow dozens of face landmarks and recognizing basic emotions (happy, scared, neutral, surprised, nervous, angry, etc.).
Moodflux team: “We worked really hard in our spare time to achieve our goals, came to work on several weekends and managed to finish the prototype. We had lots of fun and it was really really awesome to see how our ideas developed into new scenes, art and effects.
We are proud of the graphics and the main feature of our app: The Mood Mode. The player generates an initial playlist with only a few entries, and according to your feedback, it will add tracks that you will almost surely like. The sensor sits in front of you (is really small) and follows your face, if you interact in any way with the music, a rating will be given to the currently playing track and will be considered when new songs are added automatically to the playlist.
Art is how we decorate space. Music is how we decorate time. We’ve tried to combine them!”
Congrats and thumbs up for you guys! We’re extremely happy to have you around! 🙂
